Does anyone know if storing the other weapons and just running two guns works in the remake for controlling the ammo it gives? Because I love the cutter but I'm also afraid to put the ripper and flame thrower away in case it keeps giving me ammo for those and then I don't have the means to even fire those ammo types. I like that I'm actually having to cycle through the weapons I use now but man I'm rarely getting to use the cutter cause it just keeps giving me pulse rounds. But seriously I'm almost never getting cutter ammo, got a ♥♥♥♥ ton of pulse rounds but I takes nearly 50 rounds to kill a necromorph on medium. The weapon guide on here goes into more details on the functions of weapons and is very helpful when deciding on a loadout. Blast them with either first to strip their flesh and make it easier to take off their limbs with a cutting weapon like the plasma cutter/ripper. Instead of both of the same, try the flamethrower or force gun in place of one of them. I've found ammo gets dispensed fairly equally when using 2 weapons though.Īnd cutter/ripper isn't a great combo as both weapons do the same thing, i.e.
